    NEW SOLUTTION FOR COASTAL EROSION CONTROL IN MEKONG DELTA

    “Study on solution for coastal erosion control and sedimentation for reforestation at Con Cong, Tan Phu Dong district” sponsored by DOT of Tien giang and carried out by the Mekong water technology innovation institute (mwi). New measure is to combine sand mattress and geo-tubes for shore line reinforcement instead of wave energy mitigation by concreted breakwater structures.
    The pilot project has been tested during monsoon season 2019-2020 and result of test shows feasibility of the solution that can be applied in similar coasts.
